Just a heads up on Artesonruju

For those that are not members of the AAC, the AAC just sent a heads up on the Southeast Face (ie: the route normale), last winter lost all its snow on the lower 1/3 of the face leaving that section as a rock climb.

They quoted Sergio Rameriz Carrescal (a guide in tthe area) as saying it was lost in one massive slide, and was saying that for this upcoming climbing season it would probably be devoid of snow or ice. They show a picture of the area and its truely impressive to see such a huge change to a mountain in such a short time.
