Aconcagua 2009 Expedition Package

ACONCAGUA 2009-2010 EXPEDITION PACKAGE

Although I have no plans to return to Aconcagua this upcoming season due to prior committments a friend of mine is and has offered to coordinate a similar support package to fellow climbers as was done on my previous expeditions. The package will be designed to provide competent climbers with all the necessary logistical support inside Argentina (transportation, hostel, mules, base camp services, etc.) to get climbers to the Plaza Argentina base camp from where they can begin their own unguided ascent. Dates being considered are early to mid-December and the schedule is designed to provide up to four summit days.

If you are interested please feel free to email me for more information. I have offered to provide all the necessary information through my my web site and to coordinate all communications.

Dates: TBA (Tentatively arriving in Mendoza in early to mid-December)
Routes Available: Polish Glacier, Polish Direct or False Polish Traverse
Minimum: 4 climbers

Final cost: TBA (probably in the $1,000 to $1,100 US range)

Please note: This expedition is designed for climbing partners to join as a team or solo climbers wishing to attempt the mountain on their own, not for individual climbers looking to join a group. If you are an individual climber you must find a partner in order to join or plan to climb in true solo style with no support from other expedition members.
