Dave Watson. Wow. In our little climbing community, a friend mentioned that someone had skied K2... And here you are. Well done. Must have been so much fun. I can understand other climbers being concerned about you skiing, but on the other hand, we think it might be safer...for the time savings on the descent, ie less exposure to danger. You deserve all the promotion you can get!!! Outstanding.

I thought some of you might like this. The classic Abruzzi Ridge on K2. Camps 2 (6600m), 3 (7300m), and 4 (7850m) are shown. I rappelled between camps 3 and 2 down the "Black Pyramid"

So, in the above picture, where exactly would you draw your ski descent line? It looks like there just isn't any good terrain, crazy!

Looks like he went down the ridge to camp 4, then more down the ridge to camp 3, then rappelled straight down to camp 2, and skiied down to the right (skiers left).

Congratulations Dave Watson...Patrick Vallençant would be proud!
Great pictures too! :D
