by robmo » Fri Nov 27, 2009 8:37 pm

Hi,

I am going to be in Honolulu next week, I know its an odd place but does anyone know were I can get a EV2. I am coming from Sydney and that is the only place I will be in the states.

Thanks

Rob

What about ordering it online and having them ship it to your hotel there?

The EV2 is a high altitude tent. I have tried to use it in low altitude environments and it was terrible. I hope you realize this, its even worse in humid environments, and it doesn't get any more humid than Hawaii... Just my input, but no I dont know where to get one. I know a guy selling a trango 2 tho.

Thanks for the info, I don't plan to use in Hawaii thats for sure, It for a trip to Aconcagua.
I am from Sydney and with the exchange rate so good at the moment its about half the cost of what I can get it for in Sydney. I just know someone going there in a few days so thought they could pick it up for me. Most online retailers wont ship to Australia.

thanks

It's great when the reverse swirl works itself out and folks benefit from the Internet.

Kidding aside, I'd recommend what D. had to say. ;)
