FS: La Sportiva Trango S EVO GTX 44.5

by Luciano136 » Fri Nov 27, 2009 9:55 pm

SOLD SOLD SOLD

A long name for the red La Sportiva mountaineering boots. I probably wore them 3 times trying to break them in but they are just too narrow for my feet. Boots have 95% of their life left. They are euro size 44.5 but their sizing is small. Just to give you an idea, my other boots are a US size 10.5 and these are still pretty small for me.

Price: $170 shipped.

Besides being a little dusty, they are basically brand new

I wear size 10 American size. Would they be small for me?

They shouldn't be small for you. I have a pair of US size 10.5 Vasque boots and I have a little extra room, whereas the La Sportivas fit my feet with no extra room.

So, if anything, you would probably just have a little spare room at your toe. Is there any way you could try these on at a local store? That should help. An insole can always fix that 0.5 size difference.

No interest? Reasonable offers will be considered. It's a great boot!

I may be interested (I have a pair of size 43 Exum Ridges that fit snugly). Let me see if I can find some to try on.

Sounds good! Trying a pair on would be a good idea because the sizing is sort of unpredictable.

I did the same thing. Bought a pair of superfeet but the sides still make spaghetti of my feet. I always thought I had a narrow foot but after measuring them at REI, they told me it's more average to wide. So, not a good fit for me. A friend of mine has Lowas and they seem to fit better; I might give those a try but will only buy locally now, so I can return if needed be.
