Boots for Casaval Ridge in late april

Boots
Thanks for all of the input folks. I live in Eugene, OR which is only 4 hours drive north of shasta so I have the ability to bring both footwear combination's along with me and then decide based on the weather and temperature. It would be nice to be able to move quickly with the lighter uninsulated boots, yet I mot definitely want to keep my toes! Best, Travis
