Hej Folks,

Next three months I will stay near Munich (Starnberg) for work, since that's close to the alps I was wondering to spend some weekends in the Alps (climbing/hiking/skiing).

But does anyone of you know some local clubs (DAV_Munchen?) who organise some (winter) courses (avalanche training, ice-climbing...) or any activities during the weekend? Or any internet forum where I can find some climbingpartners and or tips of climbing/hiking in the area?
Or a climbing hall in Starnberg or Munchen?
