Major flooding from snow melt and rain, and as any good catskill hiker knows, all the low water crossings on the trails, and not to mention whats worse how many roads are wiped out every time it floods

I was just there this past weekend, and I was in the central to northern region. I knocked off six 3500ers and didn't see any flooding. There were roads closed because they were not plowed, but other than that, it was fine. I can imagine this coming weekend with all the warm weather, flooding being a problem, but you shouldn't be back on those roads this time of year without a 4 wheel drive anyway.
