Does anyone know how far the dirt road is open? If it's open till Guffy, that works but if not, I'd rather start from Wrightwood than ACH.

It was open all the way to the turnout at the end of the road (~ half a mile past the ridge to Pine) when I was there in August . . . I don't imagine that has changed since.

(I was surprised to find both Blue Ridge and Guffy camps completely full when I arrived on a Saturday night.)

The ranger station told me Lupine campground but I don't know if she understood what I meant because Lupine is a turnoff from Guffy and not the section that continues to Pine.

Still open as of Sunday, 12-SEP.
