Gray Peak Info

by beaudittl » Wed Dec 15, 2010 11:26 pm

Hey all, in addition to my post about Marcy the other day...anyone have an estimation of the distance from Marcy to Gray? I understand the herd path can be hard to find, but if it's there I might give it a go. Thanks for any info. Happy Trails!

I did in June 1971 when there were 2-3' of snow on the route. I'm guessing that if you head downhill on the N side, you will find the route obvious.

Do you know how to read a map? I gave a link to one in the other thread, and you can find USGS topos linked from every US mountain page on summitpost.
