how to attach via ferrata lanyard to harness?

by thomasalbrechtsen » Tue Jan 11, 2011 5:33 pm

hi everyody

im goin on a trip to the dolomites this summer. for that purpose I've gotten myself a via ferrata lanyard. it's the Mammut’s Via Ferrata Y.
i've experienced that some use a karabiner to attach the lanyard to the harness although i've read, that the most common (and safe) way is by tying the sling from the lanyard to the harness, using a simple larks foot knot.

just wanted to hear how you guys do it.

thx
thomas
