On behalf of friends (hikers, not climbers ) heading out mid-June from the Central Coast, where winter doesn't want to end: what are your predictions for trail conditions up N Fork Big Pine Creek? Also, for the non-camping enthusiast of the group, does anyone know anything about Big Pine Resort Cottages on Walnut St in Big Pine?
For the desert rat of the group, what's your guess on conditions for Piper Mt? Waucoba? White Mt Peak itself?
