Rearguard Meadows @ Mt Robson

by TrueNilbog » Mon Jun 06, 2011 12:36 am

Could anyone tell me what conditions are typically like at Rearguard Meadow (on the flanks of Robson) in early to mid-August? Is there running water normally accessible? What kind of nighttime temps are typical at that altitude? (I think it's about the same elevation as Extinguisher Tower)

Thanks for any info,
Brian

Can vary a lot. Should expect overnight temps between plus 8 C( 46F) and down to -5 C (23F). There should be lots of running water around. Delayed spring and deep snow in most of the rockies although Robson area not as much as other areas.
Robson is all about luck on the weather and conditions!
