West side snow levels?

by Miroslava » Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:25 pm

Don't get me wrong, I do like snow. Just not too much of it.
Wondering where to go for the long weekend. Considering Courtright area for a quick hike to Three Sisters or Spanish Mountain. Has it melted out up to 10K yet? Alternatively thinking about Lookout peak in Kings Canyon from the river or Lakes Trail in Lodgepole area in Sequoia. Any information on snowlevels on various aspects, roaring streams, or unstable snow bridges will be appreciated.

Mineral King conditions update would be also highly appreciated. I'm thinking to hike to Mosquito and Eagle lakes next weekend.

The Don Cecil trail to Lookout Peak is snow-free.
