I've currently relocated to Sichuan with the goal of fluency in Chinese and doing research on opening a nonprofit in the western area (which is just amazing....). I just wanted to put it out there if any fellow mountain trekkers are in the hood, it would great to meet and possibly get outdoors to climb or hike. There are so many beautiful peaks around but most of my time has been in Chengdu for studying. Let me know if anyone plans to be out here or if I can even help you with information from here.

I'm based in Shenzhen and have done a few trips to Changpinggao and Shuanqiaogao valleys at Siguniangshan. There should still be quite a bit of information on this forum from some years ago. Just search under Siguniangshan. I get to Chengdu on business from time to time and would be happy to meet and share information with you.
