Suppose there's several "sociological" issues involved with asking if "somebody" is OK ..

For example, THIS is ONE case where I would ASK if the person is OK ..

Note to self: next time I see an older dude in a vintage North Face fleece sitting on his Schwinn trail side, I won't ask if he needs anything 'cause I'll already know what a bad ass he is and that nothing could possibly happen to such a stud.... Gimme a break, and brush the chip off, dood.
