Red Rocks Peak ID's Requested

by Bob Sihler » Sun Apr 15, 2012 4:24 pm

Hey all,

I took the following two pictures from near the First Creek parking area recently on the way to climb White Rock Pinnacle and would like to ID the peaks for my files. It's my belief that the second is Indecision Peak, but I am unsure if it's just one point there or the whole mountain. I can't figure if the first is the Monument, Sandstone Mountain, or something else. Any help from you RR aficionados is much appreciated!

Bob

Pick one is Monument with E Peak jutting out by itself to the left side of the shot. The Monument is one of my absolute favorites on the RR escarpment.
Pick two is Sandstone. Indecision is the prominent peak on the south side of First Creek Canyon, one peak S of Mt Wilson.

Hope this helps out.

Bob, you might find this perspective interesting:

I wanted to post it earlier but I waited for it to take its course in the other thread.
