Kyle Dempster presents ... Climbs from Pakistan to China
Kyle Dempster is a coffee shop owner in Salt Lake city, who purchased his favorite community hangout after surviving a most desperate 24 day solo climb in Pakistan. He is also a Piolet d'Or winning expedition alpinist. He is well known for some most daring climbs, including Mt. Edgar (which killed Johnny Copp, Micah Dash and Wade Johnson in 2009).
Wednesday, June 13th, 2012, at 8 pm. Come early for snacks and drinks and to chat with Kyle - in 2 weeks he is headed out to Pakistan to climb K7 and Ogre II with Hayden Kennedy and Jason Kruk.
The Caltech Alpine Club, with support from the American Alpine Club southwest section is hosting this event for free (no tickets required); there will be snacks, drinks, good company, and an awesome talk! Directions and more information on Alpine Club website
Facebook Event: RSVPs not mandatory but will help us have an idea of how much snacks/drinks to get. We hope to see you there!
