Lost and found

by Virginia14er » Tue Jun 19, 2012 6:15 pm

Lost camera 6/18/12 on east ridge of Mt Elbert (South Mt Elbert Trail). Small Canon in green canvas bag. Well above treeline 12,400-13,400 on one of the flat spots. Likely berween UTMs 135 377125 4331134 and 135 376102 4330913. Camera is just a thing; pics of our first 14er-priceless! Thank you. :(

Update 7/18, camera found and returned. Thank you Rick! He reported his find to the Leadville ranger office, leaving his cell#; our contact with the rangers got us in touch with him and he mailed it to us! There are good people out here! :D

Found climbing rope - Colorado

by aldodenver » Wed Jun 20, 2012 5:56 pm

Found climbing rope - 40 - 50 miles west of Denver, North of I-70, South of Winterpark

Describe where and when you lost it, brand, color, length, diameter, and how you left it (i.e. coiled, piled up, butterflyed, laid out on ground/snow/rock, in a pack/bag, on a tarp) and it's yours.

Really don't want to use a found rope, so would really like to find the rightful owner who I'm sure would like to get it back.
