Primaloft One weight question

by jo83ben » Thu Dec 13, 2012 12:56 am

Hey everyone, i'm wondering if someone can explain the weight's listed for primaloft one. For example a pat nano puff has 60g of p1. Does that mean they weight out 60g and use that for one jacket? or is it more like fabric weight/fill power?

It is grams per square meter of fill. •60 g/m²
Double the thickness of the insulation and you get •120 g/m²

Nothing to do with fill power or Clo values (which is basically an esoteric heat retention measurement). Grams per square meter is just a measure of physical weight.
