Does anybody know what this is ? It looked kinda creepy, but was a fascinating kind of creepy.

I found it at approximately 7,800 ft in the Oquirrh Mountains of northern
Utah, near a permanent water source below White Pine Peak, S.E. of Tooele.

It sprouted wings and flew away shortly after I took this picture. Hmmm ... bugging me to Death!
