I am a PA with Advanced Wilderness Expedition Provider certification. I would like to get some experience "in the field" so to speak. I would love to get invovlved in a medical mission trip, an expedition clinic, or something of the sort where I can enjoy some mountains while getting some hands-on medical experience. Does anybody have any contacts, suggestions, or ideas of how and where I can get plugged in to something like this?? thanks for your help

I went on a medical mission to Peru two years ago in the Cordillera Huayhuash which I found to be very interesting from a medical perspective and certainly the mountains were incredible. Check out mountainmedics.org- that is who I went with- it is a pretty small organization but they have been going to the same area for several years now. PM me if you have any specific questions
