If you need something beyond durable clothes:
1. Sew some large patches at the knees and elbows; leave a small opening at the bottom.
2. Take a generic blue foam sleeping pad and cut out shapes to fit the patches.
3. Insert pads into the patches.

Here's a visual example:

(Having the opening at the bottom should prevent them being forced out the top when you bend your knees; just make the openings too small for the pads to fall out, and maybe add a touch of velcro or a small pocket at the bottom.)

How can you have the name honeybadger2 and be worried about scraping your elbows and knees?

If you need protective gear for rock scrambling, then you're doing something wrong.

Can you please elaborate on what you're doing, what's happening, and why you feel that you need protective gear?

Ditto.....unless I'm in an offwidth, my knees never touch rock.
