Looking for someone to climb Mont Blanc with next summer 2014. I have no experience in the alps, but after speaking with some different people I've been informed that training in the scottish mountains is a great start, so I've booked myself in for a course in february. The thing is, the guides are so expensive for a Mont Blanc ascent, I just can't be paying that much.
I'm looking to go in June/July to Chamonix and spend a week to 10 days there.
Help an aspiring mountaineer out?

In all sincerity......you're an "aspiring mountaineer" who is going to charge up Blanc without a guide after taking a course? No offense intended as I'm trying to do you a favor......but you are the reason the mortality #'s on that mountain is so high. Please do yourself a favor and log a few seasons of climbing before hand. Or not.....it's your life, not mine.

I've always found just going out there and having a go but knowing your limits is a good way to learn. worked for me.
