There are not many easy peaks to climb in Pakistan, at least real mountains over, say, 5500m.

The best bet is to travel up past Gilgit and Karimabad to Shimshal. Within a few days walk east of Shimshal village there are some easy 6000m peaks, like Minglik Sar and others without names, and there are porters and guides who will know the area well.

Thanks Damien. That's a Great Idea.I was thinking about doing the same myself. On my tour to Rakaposhi i saw some great 6000 meter peaks majority of them were unnamed.Plan is to become an 8000'er within two to three years.Anyways thanks again for answering.
