New Hampshire self-arrest practice

by ADKSherpa » Sun Jan 11, 2015 6:27 pm

Anyone know of any good spots in NH to practice self-arrest? Some type of snowfield steep and long enough with a safe runout to get some sliding in? Thanks!

Tuckerman Ravine would be good as long as avy danger is low. Or, for a shorter approach, the lower slopes of Willey's Slide could be good, as long as there's enough snow.
