Id like to spend the night at Camp Muir this saturday. I don't plan to climb higher then Muir and i do have a climbing permit but not sure if i need a permit to spend the night and odds are getting one day of probably can't happen. Any help will do.

You will need a wilderness permit to camp at Muir, and yes, you may not be able to secure one on a weekend in the middle of the summer: http://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvisit/w ... permit.htm
