Are there any good class 3 peak scrambles/routes near Buena Vista? Most of the well-known nearby peaks (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc.) seem to be mostly class 1 or 2. Looking for some potentially more interesting routes to tackle.

although not a fourteeners, Ice mountain is a great scramble! I believe it was class 4, mainly near the summit.

Ellingwood Ridge route on LaPlata is not too far from BV, probably the best 3rd class 14er route with reasonable access from BV.
