The idea of a printed guidebook is getting as DUSTY as a sandstorm in the Mohave desert.

Yeah .... right. None of SP's threads are ever controversial in the least ...

OK guys... here is a real mystery. I think bigger than Secor's unclimbed peak.
I've taken a liking to JD's posts. I've been laughing out loud!!
So I thought, "Who is he? He's been a member of this site since way back in 2003." right?
So I clicked on his name.
Here's what came up;

Member Since Dec 10, 2003, Last Active: Sep 13, 2017
Total Hits: 0

WHAT???!! How can someone have ZERO hits in almost 14 years?????

I have a theory though. I think he is an insider to the Masonic secrets of the unclimbed peak.
It's a conspiracy. He's part of a secret sub-division of the NSA and they are guarding the location of the true Masonic quarry; a quarry in the depths of a mountain so pure, so perfect, producing granitic blocks so perfect that they were hewn out and transported back to Egypt to build the pyramids.
And now my life is in danger as I've exposed his double identity; a double agent... climber and spy.
No wonder the peak has never been climbed and no one will ever know it's true location.

Wallspeck, you're reading too much into this. What's a "hit" anyway? I deleted my meager content some years back and temporarily disavowed myself of the fun and games on the forum. Now I post occasionally. My identity isn't so hard to determine but I'm not eager to make it too obvious to search engines. Anyway, it's not really about me.

Believe what you want, it doesn't matter. I think that's part of the deal with Secor's "mystery". There's no proof so it's a matter of faith... unless you know for certain. I don't know as the location of the peak was not revealed to me. But I believed the person telling me about it was serious.

You're not a spy?
Darn.
Hm.
Well, probably all the spies say that.

On the technical note... so "hits" are counted when people click on your posted content, yes?
I didn't know that. I thought it was when they clicked on your name. And you have not posted content, so no hits.
OK. Well darn.
I liked the spy theory better.

Apparently, RJ has taken this secret to his grave. There is a report that he has passed on.

You either didn't bother to read this thread or don't believe some of the posts. The latter would be odd if at the same time you believe in the existence of the Unclimbed Peak.

West Baldy is the mysterious unclimbed Sierra peak.
