Figured I'd post a quick update. He's currently looking to change doctors in hope for improvement. He did tell me he wants to climb a mountain with me before he loses his ability to walk.

So, if you have any ideas, please let me know! I'm guessing something that's wheelchair accessible just in case, would be great. White Mountain Peak would be a hard challenge for him but it would fall in that category.

I don't know if White Mountain is really wheelchair-accessible; at best it's a rocky road.

But the first part of the trail to Angel's Landing in Zion, to Scout's Overlook, is paved. Of course it might be insane to go from there to the true summit, but the views up at Scout's are pretty good. I would caution that anyone who tries that in a wheelchair ought to be very familiar with braking.

There are some pretty high peaks in CO with roads to the top; maybe a wheelchair on the last mile would do.

Well, there's the one guy that made it to the top of WMP in a wheelchair. Derek still has the ability to walk but since MS symptoms are so unpredictable, I was thinking maybe there would be a way for me to carry a wheelchair just in case something happens and I can wheel him out. Just brainstorming with some ideas right now... I assume we would do this journey over a few days.
