Hi guys I am looking to maybe get two sleeping bags.

One for warmer mountains up to maybe Aconcagua and then an expedition type sleeping bag for mountains like Denali up to 8000ers.

Does anyone have suggestions for both types?

btw Denali and 8'000s are different beasts. 8,000s often have cozy base camps where you dont need super warm bags. Higher up, a bag that can be used with your down ensemble (Check out PHD) is more efficient than a heavy bag. Yep, you generally have 2 bags on an 8'000er

Denali on the other hand, can be more hostile, depending on the time of year. Are you going in May or June. If May I would have at least a -25 deg C bag, if June maybe get away with something lighter.

Is it possible to use the same Sleeping Bag for Kilimanjaro and Aconcagua?

I use the marmot col, -20 and been very happy! Worked well on Denali and Vinson. Would not bring it to Kili, way too warm. Kili will be marmot wizard +20

I ended up going with the First Ascent Karakarom 0F
