Snowshoeing the southern Cascade

by Bubba Suess » Sat Jan 12, 2013 11:37 pm

Can anyone suggest some interesting snow shoe trips in southern Oregon, other than Crater Lake? I am thinking of, south of Crescent Lake area. I have done the lake a few times and would like to try something different.

Total side note, should I refer to them as the southern Cascades or the southern Cascade?

I'd say southern CascadeS. Van Tilman has a good backcountry ski guide to Oregon that you could use for some suggestions.
