Diego, gert has indicated that he didn't have time for #99, so he left it for somebody else to solve. Looking forward to gabr1's quiz :)

As for the "rules", I don't think we should be too strict. The thing to be guessed is a mountain, the clues that the quizmaster gives are entirely up to him. It's nice to start with a picture though! Also, give the people some time between clues, not everybody will be reading every day / every hour (but don't wait a week..)

Ok, so here is the #100 quiz.

It is not a peak you will recognize on sight.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. No, didn't recognize it on sight ;)

Either there has been a bushfire, or the trees on the lower slopes have lost their leaves (or needles, if larches). I'm guessing it's in Italy (you don't have to answer that by the way). The houses don't really look Austrian or Swiss.. (and you're from Italy too..)
That's as far as I can get..

If it's not in Italy is in Spain :?:

Rick, it's not good to be very strict but a quiz won't be guessed if given only the checksum or the altitude. And I believe that a mountain is always joined with its height anyway...

There was no bushfire, but the day was reaching the end, and the pitcure was taken in a pretty tight valley, so all the lower slopes were in the dark.
I guess i might give clue #1:
this color has something to do with this mountain. Color red i mean :D

gabr1, in this thread questions must be answered though you can't give more explicit clues doing it: Yes/No. Anyway, I think we both are bad.

Is it in The Eastern Alps :?:

I'm sorry, but no. The names you gave are not correct, and it is not in the Karavanke, nor in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
