Has anyone been down Tenaya Canyon recently? I'm curious how much water is in the large pool/seasonal swimming hole. Yes, I am aware of the current smoke/fire situation. thanks

On SuperTopo this morning "Gearhead" stated that he descended Tenaya last weekend .He mentions a fatality.

Please post any information come across from SuperTopo. I'm planning to descend TC the last weekend in September. With the continuing drought, I'm expecting very little surface flow in the canyon. Thanks!

The water was about waist to chest deep depending on where you walked through the pool. The waterfall you rap through will also get you wet. On the bright side, the landing spot for the rap is only a few inches deep. The water wasn't too cold.
