Where has this been all my life?

It’s so technical… And yet… so elegant.

I just want to throw on a pair of hot pink tights, and take to the sky.

(I apologize in advance, if this has already been tossed around on this site, but this made me laugh).

Thanks for the background DMT. I wondered around this site for a while, after someone sent me the link, and was amazed.

As much as the whole "artsy" thing really isn't my cup of tea, this video was a reminder to me that this is a 3D world we live in (and im not mainly referring to the vertical aspect). I think too many climbers get wrapped up in the vertical pursuit, and fail to enjoy what is taking place all around them. These "artists" accentuate that very notion.

I know sometimes I need to be reminded to just slow down.

eh, not really my thing. Yeah, it looks cool, but I feel like they're doing it just for that reason, as a performance. And who set the ropes up for them in the first place? Unless they rapped down. I'm not saying I could do this, but going back to what was said earlier, it's just not my cup-a. Then again, who am I to determine what you do dangling off of a rope.

Nice displays of the conservation of angular momentum though.

Thanks for sharing.

They University of Wyoming dance school does this kind of vertical performance every year in August at Vedauwoo. It really transforms the way you look at rock you have climbed.

Looks like cirque du soleil stuff you see in Vegas.
