Here is a shout out and congratulations to Mike, aka thephotohiker for putting out a great guide book on over 60 routes in the Bitterroot Mountains of Western Montana. It is a real testament to Mikes talent as a writer/photographer, as well as a prolific climber in the mountains of his front yard!
Way to go Mike!!!!!

ps. the link to the book is unavailable as yet, but I will update asap!

Damn those photos are amazing. I'm not sure of Mike's history, but his work is National Geographic worthy.

There's actually an amazing Mount St. Helen's article (with photos) in the most recent Nat'l Geographic magazine!

So here at last is a link!
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Hikes- ... in+summits

No picture yet, but it is at least in their system, and at a substantial discount off the suggested retail price!
At the B&N price, this book is a real bargain.

Cheers!
