Great page! Excellent if on a MTB: Cycle up one of Europe's hardest climbs from Funchal to Pico Ariero. Bike and hike to Ruivo, bomb down the roads to the sea, have a bite and bike back over another pass to Funchal. Long but beautiful day!
Thanks Janne. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to carry those bikes through the tunnels up there. It certainly is annoying to the hikers...
