perhaps we met...... there on Weissmies. We came from Almageller hut and were there just about the same time. It was a nice day on Wednesday!

Re: perhaps we met...How Funny, just came back from my holiday, registered here, posted some stuff and almost inmediatly a reply! It sure could be that we met, there were so many people at the summit! (we were threre between 09.50-10.45) Yes indeed, it was a magnificant day.

Re: perhaps we met...How long did it take for you to reach the summit from the Almageller hut? How was that route, is it nicer, or more difficult than the route from Hohsaas?

Re: perhaps we met...It took me about 4 h, we started at 5 a.m. at the hut on 2894 m. The character is different. It is pure rockclimbing up to UIAA II, not much exposed, can be done without rope if one is experienced (some dutch and french were not...) Only for the last meters you need crampons.
