Barr Trail
We hiked the Barr trail after we got out of class at about 1200 and got started about 1300. It was hotter than hot that afternoon. Stayed about 1/2 mile past Barr Camp and made it to the top the next day and walked back down.
Climbed from near Crag Campground. On snow all the way. Road to top was still closed. Not a sole in sight.

Respect
I didn't hike the entire route from the bottom but I did make it to the summit. I was 13. Got lost on the way up. Panicked. Great experience for instilling respect for the mountains on a young kid.

Rumdoodle Ridge
Got my October grid slot and new route, taking Barr/Bottomless Pit/Rumdoodle Ridge/NW ridge. See TR. Cool route!

Same as Wawa.
Same as Wawa below me. Magnificent, challenging northeastern-ish approach. Perhaps as high as 50 degrees (temperature, not slope) at the summit.

Northeastern Class 3 Route
I took the Barr Trail in and then scrambled up some ridiculously dangerous and seemingly discarded Northeastern Class 3 route above treeline. There were some old cairns, not many. Not recommended in winter. Came down the much safer Barr Trail.
What we climbed might have been part of the Rumdoodle approach.

bottomless pit
Great snow route. Camped at Barr and went up through bottomless pit, Y coulior route. Had a hamburger on top and glisaded down the trail side back to Barr. Was an awesome day aside from some blisters on the way out from Barr.

Barr Trail
Beautiful hike with perfect weather. Over 7,000 gain, but well worth the effort. Hiked with Steve, Hootie, and HM. Cheated and took the train down.
