Pinnacle Buttes-- Southeast Peak #1-- Ridge and Summit

Reaching this ridge and then gaining its crest will require Class 3 or 4 scrambling depending on the exact line taken. Attaining the summit itself is harder than it looks-- not technically difficult (Class 4 about) but very rotten, very narrow, and very exposed. In some places, including the final 15 or so yards to the summit block, it is too narrow and rotten to walk on. Absaroka Range, WY-- August 2011
