Piz Cambrena from the north, on the Pers glacier

This is from the north, on the Pers glacier near Fuorcla Trovat. The Ice Nose route to Piz Cambrena (3606 m) starts on the (somewhat poor) rock to the right of the ice fall. Above the ice fall, the route continues on the glacier. At first that's steep, but after traversing to the left it flattens out a bit. From there, go further south and around the steeper bit to finally ascend the summit more or less from the east. The N-ridge route follows the ridge on the left, starting by ascending Piz d'Arlas (3375 m), then following the ridge to the east summit of Piz Cambrena (3604 m). After that, it crosses the glacier to the true summit. 13 August 2008.
