A very enjoyable hike in the woods, but the viewpoint is a bit of a buzzkill.
Date posted is the first day I hiked it. As of July 24th, 2018 I've done it 3 times since.
Went up after work to watch the superbloodredmoon
On a trip from Chicago before I moved to the NW on the advice of someone in REI Seattle. With Flanders right before he got married and before I interviewed in Portland.
Up and down in the clouds.
Also did with my wife as well.
Nice little evening hike. Lots of slugs and mosquitoes. Pretty cool watching the hang gliders launch over the Issaquah basin.
I went up with a couple of old friend's. Not spectacular on that day. Gray and rainy.
Always fun to come here and watch the paragliders.
From Hang glider loading area. Hike was short but a little steep. Up and down in under 3 hours with a nice break at the top.
Did this with friends. Greeted with no view!!
of all the times I've been here!
This peak is the Seattle version as Mt. Zion is for Denver...perfect for hang gliding!
I did this one by mistake, was trying to climb Tiger Mountain, but then I continued on for a traverse.
Fun hike with a great view at the top!
A fun little hike with a very fun name!
Yeah, I am back and hiking again!!! It felt good watching the handgliders from the top. Cool place. The only problem was this became my first night hike on the way back!
Would have lunch on Poo Poo once in a while while doing projects in the area (North Bend DNR Fire Crew). Fires are very rare in North Bend area...we did lots of projects.
beats the wingter blues but unless you live in the neighborhood I couldn't recommend it more than once!
