Bloody mosquitos
The humidity and mosquitoes were HORRENDOUS. Hiking through a damp forest in a jacket with low 70's just so I wouldn't get eaten alive. The views from the top were amazing but the conditions really made it more difficult than it should have been.
scramble from Coal bank pass. Impressive looking peak from Durango ski resort, and Hwy 550.

Potato Hill
I had seen the north face of this peak many times before but when I finally saw its impressive south face on this trip, I knew I had to climb it. The bushwhack in the forest was worth it. Great day except for getting caught in a storm 20 minutes before reaching the car.
