Thanks, appreciate it. Nice kayak on your profile page. I just got a sea kayak and love it. Not the same as whitewater but it's great to get out on most any water in my opinion.
Very nice page: well-written and rich in interesting and useful info. Thanks for posting it!

Thanks for the vote. You know, I spelled comparible/comparable like 5 times before I chose the wrong one. :- ) Ah well, thanks for catching those. Appreciate it.
Nice job, Brian! I must have missed this one while I was off to Kona. Boy, those car rental prices are enough to take one's breath away - it's got to be cheaper to just buy one at some point.

Thanks for the vote, Don. Yeah, wish I could have found a rent-a-wreck or something there. Not a cheap place to visit but a great one to go to if you can.
Yeah, I tried to do one more but it was a glaciated one and vis was 0, winds were high enough to blow nearby waterfalls back UP the cliff so I gave up on that one. It was the one in Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne that they entered to descend. Really wanted to bag that one but hopefully there will be a next time.

Untitled CommentGood description. I bet many who make it to Iceland don't go all the way to the north. Good pix and I liked the rudy rocks.

Untitled CommentThanks! Northern Iceland actually has the best weather of all but it seems most people only go to soggy Reykjavik. Appreciate your vote.

Untitled CommentNice instructive page. Again I feel reminded of Tenerife, this time the Roques de Garcia. Can't keep up with the snow, though ;.)
