The ensemble of Biserica Fortificata de la Prejmer (RO) is widely considered as the most powerful peasant fortification in medieval Transylvania and the largest fortified church in SE Europe. It is a part of UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage named Villages with Fortified Churches in Transylvania.
