Selkirks South of the Border

This list is for peaks of the Selkirk Mountains south of the border or more specifically the Priest Lake subrange. These glacially carved mountains are often called the Idaho Selkirks, but that is an incorrect name since the group extends into Washington.

Criteria:

>= to 7,000 and named
or
>= 7,000 feet and >= 300 feet of prominence

Each entry includes:

*Name - with rank
*Elevation
*Prominence
*Location
*Photos

There are many worthwhile peaks between 6,000 and 7,000 feet that are not included simply because such a list would be very long. Elevations may vary slightly from other sources for a variety of reason. Primarily if no stated elevation can be found, the value halfway between the highest elevational line and the next line that would be above it is used as an estimate. This list is similar to the one on the Selkirk Range area page, but was created to include the same information with many more photos made available.

If you have a good photo of a mountain on this list, especially if the mountain is lacking a photo, please call it to my attention and I will be happy to add it.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
