The mountain of the Spartians!  Sucess!

A very nice peak, the highest of Peloponesis. great view from the top of the whole region and to the mythic city of Sparta.

A rough route (doable with a normal car, but better with a 4 WD) can lead you up to the refuge at 1550m from where the hike is not too long.

The hike from there is a bit demanding, especially between 1600m and 1800m on some limestone sections (a bit demanding especially if températures are warm but without any difficuluty or any problem, the way is Always easy).

The path is very easy as well l(partly on slabs) before reaching main ridge around 2230m.

Avoid climbing the peak when very hot or leave very early.

A bivouac on the top (small Church with no roof) is advisable to enjoy Sunset/ Sunrise.

A nice hike for sure!
