Puhia Pele - Klenke at the top
The top of Puhia Pele is merely the highest heap of tephra. What you can't see in this picture is all the little droppings by creatures that seem to habitate the place, though not while we were there. The smell wasn't pleasant. There was even a pile of bones near the top. March 2007.
