Thanks Radek. We were very luck with the weather. A downpour the night before had cleared thee air and though the clouds kept on rolling over the chain we still had sunny weather most of the time. Mountains, clouds and blue sky are the best ingerdients for nice SP-pages (a glacier here or there might help, too).
Looks strangely like the capstone on Moore's Knob and Cook's Knob here in NC, USA which I climbed a few days ago. Quartzite stuff. Very tough and very white.
Nice page. I'm not fond of the signature shot, but that's just my o-pin-ion.

Thanks Paul! I posted the sig pic because it was a great moment when the cloud parted to show the mountain. I'm somehow disappointed by what I got on the chip. I'll do a swith sometime, there are enough picts ;-)
You may be right but I think I'm halfway through ;-) I'll post a question to the Shelock Holmes' of the Italian team tomorrow morning. A mountain I can't put a name on. (or rather two) :-(

Of course, limestone can look like that, too.

Untitled CommentGood variety in the pix as usual. The clouds give some relief from the Mediterranean sun.
