SE Ridge failed attempt, N Ridge success  Sucess!

5/24/15 - Attempted the southeast ridge but turned back well before the summit due to cornices and avalanche danger. Lots of weird late spring snow.

9/21/18 - North Ridge from Paradise Basin. Then ran the ridge over the three 12er's to the west and returned via Yule Creek. Chossfest.

Yule Pass, made a left to the summit  Sucess!

I did my research before climbing this mountain. LoJ said it was Class 2 by easiest route and I believed that the Yule Pass route was the easiest but was more like Class 3+ climbing. Definitely the hardest mountain this summer and I had allot of fun, this was a beautiful mountain with one of the most rewarding summits Ive been on. One of my favorite climbs...

Partial Ruby Traverse  Sucess!

Climbed this along with Augusta, Richmond, Hancock, Oh-Be-Joyful and Afley on an attempt to traverse the Ruby Range from Paradise Divide to Lake Irwin. Unfortunately the weather started rolling in on Afley and we bailed, but were able to traverse around the Owen massif and get back to our second car at the lake.

The ridge had its interesting moments, there were several fun scrambling sections on sometimes very questionable rock. It seems possible to keep it to 3rd class, but we definitely went through several small 4th class steps trying to stay on the ridge crest. Be prepared for a long day if you attempt the full traverse!
